"....I've stayed at the Angkor Park guesthouse a couple times (in 2009 and 2010) for longer periods of time and I consider it my go-to based on the value for the price, location and cleanliness. The rooms have tvs, refrigerators and air-conditioning (it costs slightly more) and it is located within a few minutes walk of Pub Street as well as the Old Market and Night Market. The staff is very friendly, which is a bonus and there is a computer in the lobby to check e-mail, etc. Overall, a great value. ..."
Beautiful, spacious, clean riad + warm and lovely owners = wonderful stay in Fes!
"....The evening we arrived to Fes, Bernard came to meet us outside the medina (so that we wouldn't have to meander the confusing streets at night trying to find the riad) and right away you could sense his warmth and kindness. My two friends and I were a bit sick (with colds) and a bit tired after a long day of travel in a car but he immediately had someone put our bags in a cart and bring them to the riad (and then subsequently up to our room, which was a major feat since we had waaaaay too much luggage at this point in the trip after buying all kinds of rugs and other decorative items along the way). As we arrived a bit late, Laurence provided us with a dinner of fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc. (which we did not expect but really appreciated) and then we promptly enjoyed an incredibly restful night of sleep in our comfortable beds and spacious and nicely decorated room (we had 2 bedrooms for 3 people). The bathroom and shower were very clean and spacious as well. As the riad is a Bernard and Laurence's family home, staying there is like staying in the home of a friend - we really got the sense that they were concerned about our well-being and they went out of their way the next morning to give us a map of the medina, their business card, etc. so that we wouldn't get lost. The breakfasts were beautiful and more substantial than we had gotten at other riads as well (eggs, various breads/pastries, fruit, juice/coffee/tea). They also have 2 lobby computers which they allow guests to use for internet, etc. and a comfortable rooftop patio with a nice view of the city. When we left, Bernard drove us to the train station and found someone to help us with our luggage there. Overall, they made the experience as easy as possible for us. We stayed 2 nights - we wish we could've stayed longer and will definitely be returning when we come back to Fes! ..."

"....Un petit message pour faire un peu de pub a cette nouvelle guest-house très bien située, propre et pas chère (7 dollars pour deux par nuit avec ventilateur ou 16 dollars pour 2 enfants et 2 adultes avec air conditionné) ..."
